You could consider Eureka Springs your after-work destination and weekend retreat. It's only a short drive from many places, but it will feel like a faraway oasis.

No matter where you come from, you’ll be driving the curviest, most scenic route of your life to arrive in one of the most enchanted towns you'll ever find.

Stair step town. The town that water built. Little Switzerland. Stair-step town or hoe-down holler. Eureka Springs has had many names in its illustrious career as a destination town. One thing it doesn't have is a stoplight. Not even one.

Narrow, curvy roads and steep hills make courteous driving a must. We can really fit two cars on our two-lane roads if one is not hogging most of it. Although it will be a close call. Eureka’s streets were built for horse carts and tally-hos!

Avoid all of that. Eureka Concierge suggests you park your car and let the trolley take you for a scenic look at an old town that enjoys looking old. The entire town is on the National Register of Historic Places. That doesn't mean you have to be a history buff to enjoy what Eureka Springs offers, but a stop at our Historical Museum will introduce you to the unusual people who lived here during its 147-year history.

While the rugged Ozarks serves at a majestic backdrop, it’s the people that make Eureka Springs what it is. Throughout its history, the town has drawn people who march to the beat of a different drum. Artists, writers, healers, visionaries, chefs, shopkeepers, and people with passion and curious ideas. They welcome others who can appreciate their unique style and rhythm, if only for a few days at a time.

Some visitors come to collect art. For others, a visit to Eureka Springs is a spa day designed to peel away the layers of a busy life. Some come to dine in cozy restaurants with award-winning food, served by people who probably won’t introduce themselves, but who will feel like old friends anyway. Many come to hike, bike, boat, and paddle. Others visit to hunt that special something that makes their lives more meaningful. Memories certainly fall into that category because there is always a Eureka story to take home.
