Try Eureka From the Start. This family-friendly route connects the town’s history, landmarks, clues, quests, and local lore. Great for mixed-age groups, this tour is a downhill walk with stories that bring Eureka alive.

For art hiding in plain sight

Follow Art Walk Eureka. Murals, sculptures, ghost signs, and creative spaces are the quests in store for you to discover. It’s not a gallery tour, but a look at the public art that makes Eureka Springs one of the top art towns in the country. Eureka is casual, and so is this tour.

For scenery beyond downtown

Take the Eureka Springs Sightseeing Driving Tour. Explore a different view of the Ozarks, still very much connected to Eureka Springs, but more on the wild side. We’ll guide you to overlooks, landmarks, trails, water crossings, photo ops, and picnic detours. You can spend the whole day or make a detour that fills the afternoon with an unexpected adventure. This tour is also a smart way to balance a walking-heavy trip or include someone who would rather explore from the car. For a climb with a story

The East Mountain Climb combines local history with 198 steep stairs—or is it 199? You may lose count before you reach the top. The route explores a part of town many miss, but still an important part of Eureka’s past. For a different trek, Climb for the Cure leads you to the Crescent Hotel with its miracle-cure history; explore hidden places you might miss along the way. For a grown-up night with ghosts

The Haunted Pub Crawl connects six hideaway pubs with spooky stories and local lore. Because it is self-paced, your group can linger where the atmosphere is right. Arrange a safe ride, pace the evening so you can enjoy the stories whether you drink alcohol or not.

How to choose when everything sounds interesting

Start with the person in your group who has the strongest need. A traveler avoiding hills may appreciate the driving tour. A child who needs a mission may love the scavenger hunts in the First-Timer’s Guide or Eureka From the Start. Art lovers may want to wander in the art scene. Prepare for your adventure

Eureka Springs has steep hills and rugged historic sidewalks, so wear comfortable shoes with tread. Bring water, carry a small backpack for purchases, and pack a light jacket from October through April.
