Eureka Springs in the fall is all about colors and sapphire skies that meet steep peaks and winding curves. On the National Register of Historic Places, the entire city, population 2268, is the preservation of an American Victorian town settled because of its miraculous water, artists, and the natural wonders and waters protected by stalwart souls, wild turkey, deer and eagles.

Although you may expect the unexpected and pack for an adventure––watch, laptop, high heels––we suggest you leave all that at home and buy your Rockports here. Just find a new trail to blaze. There are more than 30 miles of trails and dozens of staircases to explore on public property.

From September on, it’s cool enough to draw you back outside, and the Ozark Mountains’ natural beauty and rugged good looks are the yin-yang stuff adventures are made of. Bring your backpack, walking stick, and bug-be-gone to hit the trails in town for vistas and hidden agendas you won’t find in the burbs. One thing is a given: when the leaves change and the air turns crisp, Eureka Springs takes on an entirely new look. It’s our cue to turn down the covers and turn up the flame, knowing hardworking, world-tromping business travelers are ready for something different from Saks and airports, Zoom calls and commutes. Let us be your harvest time full of old-timey festivals, piles of pumpkins ready to carve, zombies by the street-full, and music that makes us jump up and jig. We've got holidays covered with with thousands of twinkling lights that remind you of the magic of the season, home tours, and sing-alongs. If we’re all lucky, we’ll get a little snow on the mountains, too, and pause to listen for the hush it makes as it falls. Oh, and of course, we're all for those lazy days with breakfast in bed.
